how to check us.

why should you trust a number you saw on instagram? you shouldn’t, until you can see where it came from.

the standard

  1. the source

every number names its source, on the same slide.

  2. when

every figure carries its date. if it is from may, the slide says may.

  3. the proof

slide 7 of every report is the source itself: a screenshot of the source page, stamped with the time we captured it.

  4. the links

every link behind a post is in its caption.

  5. when we’re wrong

if we get something wrong, the correction is a post, not a quiet edit.

what we do, and what we won’t

what we do

we document the human impact of political and economic decisions — on communities being displaced, starved, exploited, and erased — using data, documents, and published reporting from the ground.

how we work

every number is traceable to its source. every source is captured with a timestamp before we post. we don’t manufacture outrage. we provide evidence.

what we won’t do

we don’t editorialize. we don’t run unverified footage. we don’t post a number we can’t show you the origin of. if we get something wrong, the correction is a post, not a quiet edit.

how it is made

research and graphics are made with AI assistance. a person checks every post before it goes up.

every claim is matched to a quoted sentence in its source, and the build stops if a quote is missing.
